The geographic case
Three growing environments. One export program.
Peru is one of the only countries in the world with three entirely distinct agricultural ecosystems operating simultaneously - each producing different categories of export products at world-class volumes.
The coastal desert valleys run along one of the driest landscapes on earth. Intense solar radiation, controlled irrigation, and zero rainfall give growers precise control over crop quality.
The high Andes produce at altitude stress that most other origins cannot replicate. Quinoa at 3,800m in Puno. Maca above 4,000m in Junin and Pasco. Anise in the Curahuasi valley.
The Amazon basin provides wild-harvested and tropical ingredients with performance characteristics that are tied directly to origin conditions rather than marketing language.
